Costs of investing in the BVP 20th EIIS Fund
There is a one-off 3% commission and no annual management charge. Realisation costs of up to 2% and a 20% performance fee above a 15% IRR hurdle also apply.
What affects your relief
The rate depends on the company invested in and its stage, and you need enough income tax liability to use the relief. Shares must be held for at least four years. Relief applies to the year you invest, and unused relief can be carried forward, subject to Revenue limits. BVP expects to issue tax certificates within twelve months of completing the Fund’s investments, and relief is claimed once you receive your certificate.
